Simpson’s Fish & Chip Shop Relaunch

Simpsons opened their doors in 2009 in Cheltenham, with over 40 years experience in the fish and chip trade they have recently won the award for the best fish and chip shop in the UK.

Their beliefs are the best quality of fish, potatoes and batter. MSG, artificial colours and flavourings are a big no no, to ensure you experience the best natural fish and chips. Not only that, they offer a gluten & wheat free option for their customers. They have thought of everything including outside catering for all your party needs!

The National Fish and Chip Awards have been recognising businesses that responsibly source fish and chips and it was the third time in November that Simpsons were nominated as finalists. Being announced as one of the top fish and chip shops in the country is an amazing achievement but it is so much more for these guys! They have gained MSC certificate and became SRA members for caring for the environment by recycling. On the 20th January, they won the title of the best fish and chip shop.

The awards are based on how a business plans a marketing campaign, and Simpsons campaign was all about educating local children where fish and potatoes came from. Caring about healthy and sustainable food. However, their new look restaurant launch party turned into a celebration of all that they achieved by winning their award. With locals showing up to support their favourite chippy, they were joined by friends and family to celebrate. With fish and chips flowing and musical entertainment, it was great to see the new restaurant and all they have achieved making them the best chippy in the UK.
